There is a way to see the Venkateswara Cave before the entrance of the temple. The damaged idol of Lord Venkateswara is present in this cave. 


The steps are steep and we need to be careful of the monkeys as well.

According to Potuluri Veera Brahmendra Swamy, the Basavanna (stone nandi) of Yaganti will come alive and shout when Kali Yuga ends.

Hello everyone :)

Today we are going to take a look at another famous Lord Shiva temple located in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. This temple is really a very peaceful to be in.


This is the main entrance of the temple.

 The temple is surrounded by caves where great sages like Agastya, Sri Sri Potuluri Veera Brahmendra Swami used to meditate.

This is Venkateswara Cave from the way to the entrance of the main temple.

We visited the temple very early in the summer morning. The falling sun rays on this temple makes the temple much more beautiful.

After exiting one temple we visit another deity temple located nearby at the other end.

144. ALAMPUR JOGULAMBA TEMPLE

Sharing the pictures of another magnificent temple located in Alampur, on the banks Tungabhadra River, in the state of Telangana. 


Alampur is considered as the western gateway of Srisailam. 


Here the marvelous temple and remains of some ancient temple signify Badami Chalukyan architecture. The architecture is completely different from the usual South-Indian temples.


The temples are very very old too, and you can see it as well.


The principal deities at the Jogulamba temple are Jogulamba and Balabrahmeshwara. Goddess Jogulamba is considered the 5th Shakti Peeta among 18 shakti peetams in the country.
